Vestfold University College has been awarded Erasmus Mundus status for a master programme run together with our partners Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. Only 30 of 177 applications for this status were awarded this time.

- This implies that we at Vestfold University College now are in the European “Premier League in education”, says Associate Professor Knut E. Aasmundtveit at Department of Micro and Nano Systems Technology (IMST).

Together the three institutions will offer a joint master’s degree in Smart Systems Integration.

The Erasmus Mundus status gives a high visibility internationally, and EU gives generous scholarships to students in these programmes. Other institutions’ experience is that this gives many applicants and extraordinary students.
